Eligibility Lists
Eligibility lists are generated by the Nevada Department of Corrections (NDOC), not the Parole Board.
We use these lists as a source for scheduling Parole Hearings. Inmates may be removed from these lists if NDOC determines that they are not eligible for parole.
Hearings for certain low and moderate-risk offenders may be held "in absentia", without the inmate needing to be present. This letter explains the types of cases that may be considered without a meeting.
